Everyone has noticed the new favor changes in Guild Wars. I, for one, hate these changes.

If you have not noticed these changes then please visit the official guildwars page to find out.

Due to the changes, I am suspecting that the favor will be recieved very slowly. in the beginning it will come very quickly, as people are rushing their titles to get favor, but it will eventually slow down.

If you are with me and my cause, please post that you would like favor to return to the way it was.

I will Edit this post and put down who votes for a change, and who wants it to stay the way it is (I havent seen any poll options on these forums so im guessing there is no option to do it).

Also moderators, if this is in the wrong forum area, please move it as you see fit. i jsut figured this would be the best area for it to be placed

2 hours? isn't it about an hour... and in all honesty, thats an hour too long. Anyone can tell this change is absolutely retarded.

How can people hate something which they have not even seen or experienced?

Why are people on this board so negative?

Really people, are you smarter than Anet? Do you have inside information on how often a title is achieved? I really want to know how people are so all-knowing that they can hate on things before they come to pass.

I really don't understand what you are trying to say. Flaming me perhaps? I don't know, but I will tell this:

I have never tried to get into a HA group. I already have almost all the max PvE titles I care to get. I PvE. I may PvP in the future if the PvP scene isn't full of little smart ass turds who really don't want to encourage new players, as that would provide more competition to them. I understand that people do want to win in PvP. There needs to be more middle ground there. Are you one of the helpful ones trying to make the PvP community grow?

I'm thrilled that favor isn't tied to PvP anymore. I have grown tired of staying up till past 1am local time just to get into UW and FOW. Perhaps you are on the West coast and haven't considered just how ridiculous it is for East coast US players to get favor time. I don't even want to hear about scrolls. When one drops for me then I will use it but that's a different bitch.

Umm thats what these things called UW and FOW passage scrolls are for. If you only pve it shouldn't be hard to get them at all.

The post was ment to be sarcastic but not a flame towards you. I'm sure a pver understands that getting "Max" titles isnt something every player does. Most casual players don't bother going for those top tier titles. Hell I don't even care for over lightbringer 2 -.-

Wow. Um... actually, I don't hate these changes as much as some, and it's definitely a step toward ending the so-called PvP tyranny. However, please take survivor off the list. We have enough problems with quitters without more people feeling the need to do whatever it takes to max the title.

i had no problem with the old system. by the time US was getting favor i was just waking up.

I generally agree. However now that I have done almost everything else in the game (until the expansion gets here) titles are what I am working on mostly. Just this past week I got my Legendary Cartographer. I do feel a little like it was wasted now that it won't help that tiny little bit with favor, and I'm only playing one char, no way I'm going to get that title again.

The only problem I see is the statues.

Well, ok. Now entrece to FoW and UW is a bit more limited, scrolls increase price ans such, but...

On top of that they cost some cash, statues top being usable.

So I'll add a change for them:
- Make them always active. But taking money.
- Make them free with favor.

And, of course, add scroll traders to each Temple.

I don't want to see the statues destroyed aaaaalll the time. I hate them like that.

But for Dwyana's sake, keep them active in explorables and outposts, or I will be never able to get Dwayna's quests!

Give it a chance huh? but if favor it's already down here in europe, surely players aren't gonna wait for 20 ppl to get their teeny weeny titles to do FoW, they'll just grab a scroll and go. This was a bad idea since the beginning.

Going back to the old system would be stupid because the problem was that PvEers relied on PvPers for the favor and half the time europe had favor until 3am est. I'm sorry but the old system was more flawed than the new one.
